Bissap/Hibiscus /Sorrel Drink

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried sorrel flower/hibiscus
  • 1/2 cup mint leaves
  • 2.5 liter water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla flavored sugar
  • 1 tbsp strawberry flavored syrup

Instructions

  • Wash dried sorrel and mint. Add in a pot, cover with water and bring to a boil.
  • Boil for 15 minutes and remove the pot from the heat. Strain in a bowl and set aside for it to cool down.
  • Once cooled down, add vanilla flavored sugar, sugar, strawberry flavoring and stir. Do a taste test and add more sugar if needed.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours and serve cold. You can also add ice before serving. Enjoy!
