Ingredients

  • 2 Plantains
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt optional

Instructions

Step 1

  • Firstly, peel the plantains and cut in the in any shape you like. Preferably in an angle.
  • Secondly, salt the plantains. The salt is optional. The plantains are sweet on their own, but I like the sweet and salty combo.
  • Lastly, coat the plantains with olive oil make sure the plantains are well coated.

Step 2

  • Preheat the air fryer for five minutes at 395 F
  • Next place the plantains in a single layer and set the Air Fryer at 395 for 12 minutes.
  • Flip the plantains over halfway through the cooking process, which is about 6 to 7 minutes.
  • After 12 minutes, the plantains should be ready. You can poke the plantains using a knife to check the doneness. Hope you find it helpful.

Notes

Notes: the color of the plantains depends on your personal preference. If you prefer more color to them, you can add 1 or 2 more minutes cooking time at 395. Generally, they're done in 12 minutes for me.
